Acceptable Use Policy

The rules for using MoveTheWheels safely and lawfully.

Document MOV-LEGAL-005 · Version 1.1 · Effective 31 October 2026 · Last updated 31 October 2026

1. Who this applies to

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses MoveTheWheels, on any plan, including shippers, carriers, brokers, 3PLs, drivers, dispatchers, operations staff, partners and trial users. It forms part of our Terms of Service and of any Master SaaS Agreement signed with Timecampus Technologies Private Limited. You must use MoveTheWheels only for lawful purposes and in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, transport, labour and employment law, and the law of your own jurisdiction.

2. Prohibited content

You must not upload, store, generate or send content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or obscene, or sexualises or exploits minors;
  • infringes intellectual property, trade secrets, privacy or publicity rights;
  • contains malware, ransomware, exploits or other code meant to damage systems;
  • contains stolen credentials or other data obtained without authorisation;
  • harasses or targets anyone based on a protected characteristic;
  • includes special-category personal data (such as health or biometric data) that your Order Form does not expressly allow; or
  • is otherwise prohibited under Indian law, including the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, or the law where you operate.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not use MoveTheWheels to:

  • move, broker or arrange prohibited, contraband, stolen, counterfeit or undeclared hazardous goods, or evade transport, customs, e-way-bill or carriage-of-goods law;
  • post fraudulent or misleading shipments, loads, carrier or partner profiles, or make sham bookings;
  • scrape or bulk-extract customer, consignee, driver or shipment data, or build a competing database from the Service;
  • track or monitor drivers without a lawful basis, proper notice and a proportionate purpose;
  • make automated decisions that significantly affect an individual driver, carrier or recipient without meaningful human review and the notices the law requires;
  • gain or attempt unauthorised access to any account, system or data, or probe, scan or test the Service’s security except under section 6;
  • get around rate limits, plan limits, billing meters, licence checks or audit logs;
  • impersonate any person or organisation, including Timecampus or another shipper or carrier;
  • send spam through notifications, integrations or webhooks, in breach of TRAI rules, CAN-SPAM, PECR or similar laws; or
  • break export-control, sanctions, anti-bribery or anti-money-laundering law.

4. Driver, customer and location data

When you handle driver, customer, consignee or location data you must:

  • have a lawful basis, and give the notices and obtain the consents your jurisdiction requires before collecting it;
  • limit access to driver, location and proof-of-delivery data to the roles that need it;
  • answer access, correction and deletion requests from your drivers, customers, consignees and carriers, as the controller of that data; and
  • keep location tracking to the operational purpose you have told people about.

5. AI features

  • You are responsible for what you put into AI features and for checking their output before relying on it.
  • Keep a person involved in any decision that affects an individual.
  • Meet any transparency or impact-assessment duties that apply to you as the deployer of an AI tool.
  • Do not use AI features to create illegal, deceptive, harassing or discriminatory content, or try to extract our prompts or model behaviour to build a competing service.

6. Security research

We welcome good-faith security research. Report vulnerabilities to [email protected] with a description, steps to reproduce, the impact and any evidence. Do not access more data than you need to show the issue, do not run denial-of-service tests against production, and give us a reasonable time to fix the issue before you disclose it.

7. Fair use

Usage must stay in line with normal product workflows, even where a limit is generous or unlimited. We may throttle usage that materially exceeds typical patterns and threatens the stability of the Service for others.

8. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this AUP has been broken, we may:

  • investigate and ask you to cooperate;
  • remove the offending content, listing or profile;
  • suspend or limit access, in whole or in part, or close accounts for serious or repeated breaches; and
  • report the matter to law enforcement or a regulator where the law requires, and comply with court orders.

Where it is lawful and practical we will tell you before we suspend or close an account, and keep your shipment, consignment and statutory transport records available for export during a wind-down. To report abuse of the Service, write to [email protected].

9. Changes

We may update this AUP. We give at least 30 days' notice of material changes, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy. Statutory consumer protections under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected.
