Load and Backhaul Review
Review capacity, windows and estimated margin before confirming a dispatch decision.

Overview
The Load and Backhaul Review concept explores how a fleet dispatcher could examine the next freight movement without reducing the decision to a headline rate. An attractive load may consume too much payload, occupy too much space or miss a pickup window. The illustration brings vehicle utilization, candidate loads and the selected trip into one view, supporting a deliberate comparison before an operational commitment is made.
The selected sample vehicle has separate cards for loaded distance, payload utilization and cube utilization. Under those cards, candidate rows describe pickup and delivery windows, cargo, weight, volume, extra road distance and estimated margin. Two rows show candidate badges with reasons, while another clearly exceeds capacity. A dispatcher-review panel follows the current location, selected load and empty return to base, with sample distance totals beneath. The design includes an Accept plan action and a reminder that driver availability still needs confirmation before dispatch.
In MoveTheWheels, this proposed experience would complement existing fleet and route decisions with explicit planning assumptions. A candidate badge is a prompt to review the listed checks, not proof that every driver, maintenance or road restriction has been satisfied. The illustration does not show a completed legal-hours assessment, live routing feed or observed fuel measurement. Its sample margins and distances do not establish profitability or a fuel-saving outcome. The concept keeps different forms of utilization separate and leaves the operator responsible for resolving outstanding availability and safety constraints before treating a selected plan as an authorized dispatch.

Load and Backhaul Review
This illustration shows Load and Backhaul Matches with a selected sample truck, three utilization cards and a candidate list. Each candidate contains locations, service windows, cargo weight and volume, extra distance and an estimated margin. Capacity reasons accompany candidate badges, and an overloaded option is visibly excluded. The right-hand dispatcher panel summarizes the selected load and return-to-base leg with distance totals and an Accept plan action. A confirmation notice states that driver availability must still be checked. All figures are invented examples, and the candidate labels do not demonstrate a completed legal-hours or road-feasibility review.
