A long-haul driver has been with three operators in five years and has never had a clear picture of his own record. In MoveTheWheels it is his.
His app shows his hours against the working-time rules, so he knows when he must rest and dispatch knows too. Earnings are transparent per job, including waiting time and extra stops. His licences, training and medical certificates are listed with their expiry dates, and he is reminded in good time to renew them.
Instructions arrive in his language. Walk-around checks, defects and incidents are reported from the cab and followed up on the record. Performance is shown in context, so a delay caused by a closed road is never held against him.
