A dispatcher opens a confirmed order and checks the selected vehicle. Its recorded status is Maintenance. The assignment panel explains the hold and keeps assignment disabled until she chooses an available vehicle.
She selects another vehicle and saves the assignment. The order shows the vehicle and driver returned by that save, so she can see which assignment was confirmed.
In a separate example, the assignment saves successfully, but the vehicle is marked for maintenance before the next movement is accepted. The panel says Assignment saved. Movement blocked. It retains the confirmed assignment and offers a vehicle change instead of repeating the save.
If an assignment or movement cannot be confirmed, further changes remain blocked while the dispatcher checks the order. Refreshing the record helps her investigate; it does not turn an uncertain result into permission to submit the same action again.
