An inventory controller manages stock for several clients across three warehouses, a cold store and a city dark store. Each facility used to keep its own numbers.
In MoveTheWheels stock lives on one record: by item, lot, serial, expiry, owner and bin location, across every facility. Every receipt, placement, move, pick, adjustment and dispatch is a transaction with who did it and why, so any number can be explained.
Cycle counts are scheduled by value and velocity rather than all at once. When a count differs, the difference is investigated against the transactions before it is adjusted. Expiry dates drive picking order, owners see only their own stock, and reorder points raise alerts before a shelf runs empty.
