Logistics Provider Marketplace
Find vetted carriers, warehouses and last-mile partners, compare their offerings and ratings, and engage one when capacity runs short.
These images are illustrations of the concept, not screenshots of the actual product.
Overview
The Logistics Provider Marketplace is where MoveTheWheels looks beyond an operation's own trucks and warehouses. Every network has days when in-house capacity runs short: a lane nobody covers, a refrigerated load with no reefer free, a surge that outgrows the warehouse. Instead of chasing providers by phone and email, the concept puts a directory of vetted logistics service providers inside the same workspace where the orders and shipments already live.
The illustration shows the Marketplace page as a grid of provider cards under the heading find vetted logistics service providers. Each card carries a logo, the provider's name and a verified badge, tags for the services it offers such as carrier, warehousing and last-mile, a star rating with a review count, its coverage regions and a View offerings link. A Filters button at the top offers a way to narrow the list when many providers are listed.
Opening a provider's offerings expands the card into a panel of service lines, such as full truckload, refrigerated transport and cross-docking, each with an indicative price range, and an Engage button to start working with that provider. The design keeps discovery, comparison and the first step of engagement on one screen.
The marketplace connects to the rest of the product. In the dispatch proposals concept, when no in-house vehicle fits a load, the assistant can suggest a marketplace carrier with its rating and a reason, which a person then accepts or rejects. Engaged providers are intended to attach to shipments as carriers, alongside the company's own fleet in dispatch and tracking, so shared capacity becomes part of the same data model rather than a side channel.

Marketplace of Vetted Providers
This illustration shows the Marketplace page, highlighted in the left navigation beside items for dashboard, shipments, carriers, analytics, payments and settings. The header reads find vetted logistics service providers and a Filters button sits at the top right. Below is a grid of provider cards, each with a logo placeholder, the provider name, a blue verified check, service tags for carrier, warehousing and last-mile, a star rating with a review count, a coverage regions line and a View offerings link. The sample grid repeats a single invented provider name. One card is expanded into a panel titled Service Offerings, listing full truckload, reefer transport and cross-dock services, each with an indicative price range, above an Engage button. The design demonstrates how an operator can compare providers and move from browsing to engagement without leaving the workspace.
